Larissa Chuprina, Ph.D., is a former university professor in TESOL and ESL Instructor at a college level , who shares her passion for learning new languages and cultures. Larissa noticed her love for languages at a young age, living in Germany with her family of Russian interpreters. As a youth, she developed a deep curiosity for English- and English-speaking countries. Living in Ukraine as an adult, she received an MA in Linguistics and English as a Foreign Language from National University in Kharkov. She owned and directed her Language School and Educational Tourism that allowed her to travel extensively to many European countries and the US.
Thanks to that experience, Larissa got Fulbright Fellowship sponsored by the US Government and was affiliated with the Global Business Center at The University of Tennessee. Later, she received PhD in Education, with specialization in Educational Psychology and Cultural Studies from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. It started her interest in how brain works and new approaches to learning languages based on neuroscience. Currently, she lives in Eastside of Seattle and is a sought-after guest speaker and Consultant on issues of Cultural Awareness for businesses and organizations and provides training as a Culture Coach to English language learners. As ESL and Culture Coach, she helps immigrants, expatriates and their families to use English with confidence for personal and professional accomplishment. Her individual or group sessions are fun and effective due to friendly atmosphere supported by Positive Psychology and new discoveries in the field of Second Language Acquisition.
My Passion
I am passionate about Language Learning and using it to achieve meaningful communication with Love and Kindness, to oneself, family members, neighbors, or colleagues, or opponents.
I enjoy interacting with people on personal level or online to help them to achieve their goals and gain cultural acuity through coaching in learning English, Small Talk workshops, and emotional support.
As ESL and Culture Coach, I create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere, where nobody fails. There are no mistakes, but learning experience. It is a collaborative approach to discover Self and what works in the Language acquisition– learning to remember and use what is learned.
Together with my students, we create a plan and chose methods that work in the most efficient and effective way. It takes into consideration what the student brings to the learning process: time, desire to learn, previous experience in learning languages, strengths and weaknesses, and goals. My students are free to express themselves in any media, besides the English language. In fact, this approach helped discover hidden talents in my students, like painting, drawing, singing, dancing, or writing poetry.
I promise to bring joy of learning, patience to listen and pay attention to my students’ learning needs, with that everyone is capable and smart to take responsibility for their results.
I see success in shared awareness where we are in the process. I will hold space and time for my students in the process of learning and will keep it simple, practical, and enjoyable with my signature courses English for Success and Happiness. As a Member of ILCA (International Language Coaching Association, I share the mission of the organization and its values.
LANGUAGE COACHING DEFINITION Language coaching is a learner-led process aimed at creating optimal target language acquisition while working towards effective international communication skills in order to reach future-related goals. The framework is based on strategies utilizing intrinsic motivation and developing awareness, where the coaching practice develops and refines learning skills.
Students take responsibility for the own learning process and personal development.

Papers (legal documents, medical reports, scientific texts with full page, graphics, tables, or written in small fonts – $75 per page or hour
Project base:
